Beisbol - East Coast - West Coast Style

First of all, a reminder: NFL picks are below.

Now, a day late on the predictions, but never too late for postseason awards. To avoid East Coast bias, Big Thunder (California) and I (Connecticut) have debated for the last couple of days over the MVP (BT's argument: Rollins isn't the best player on his own team; mine: Holliday's home and road splits) to any legit Manager of the Year candidates in the AL, and so on.

Here are our picks:

BT: 1. Matt Holliday 2. Prince Fielder 3. Chase Utley / David Wright (tie)
EJ: 1. Jimmy Rollins 2. Matt Holliday 3. David Wright

World Series winner: Boston Red Sox

Comments:
I've seen less ties at a Men's Wearhouse tent sale. Sack up and make some picks. It's not like your vote actually counts for anything. Or were you worried that you'd hurt the feelings of these professional athletes by not including them in the post-season post on Sportsmeat? Perhaps you should give out Sportsmeat participation ribbons.

I know I shouldn't talk, since I was too lazy to get in my picks, but that was the BEST. COMMENT. EVER. (on Sportsmeat, which considering our traffic is not much of an honor)

They're all winners.

Ridiculously wealthy winners.

I'm more intrigued by a manager who quit 3 months into the season being 2nd on BT's ranking for AL manager of the year.
